November on ShareTheBoard

December vibes are starting to kick in, but we’re not slowing down. Here’s a look at the improvements we introduced to our app in November.

What’s new:

  • New Presenter View!
You can view saved frames during the session without jumping between browser tabs. Clicking on a frame opens a popup with a preview, which includes an annotation toggle and the option to upload that frame as an image to the current board view.
  • Access to Board Memory during an ongoing session and the “Save Content Snapshot” option are no longer available.
  • A series of changes to ensure WCAG Level A/AA compliance.
  • A new popup notifying about the lack of AI tokens when accessing Board Memory, which could not be automatically analyzed due to a lack of tokens.
  • Another series of improvements for TalkBack and VoiceOver.
  • Messages about a poor internet connection automatically close after 10 seconds.
  • Remote Control: overlapping sessions are no longer possible – the host can only have one session at a time.

Bug fixes

  • Remote Control: you cannot edit a series created before the time change if a session in the series is in progress.
  • Firefox: Changing the board working area with “Flip vertical” enabled now works correctly.
  • Retrying a failed auto-analysis is impossible if “Smart Session Insights” is disabled in Settings.
  • You can no longer add a recipient to the Board Memory (Attendees section) while an autoanalysis is in progress.

Happy whiteboarding and ho, ho, ho…!
