Introducing Multi-Cam
Now you can share up to three boards at a time. Point one camera per board, set up multi-cam, and ShareTheBoard does the rest. All you have to do is stand in front of a given board and STB will switch cameras for you. No assistant needed, no concerns about the wrong content being captured in Board Memory. Just use your boards as you normally would.
How to set up Multi-Cam
This part is very easy. Before getting started though, make sure you’ve selected the right cameras for your space and that you’ve positioned them correctly. Once that’s in order:
- Start your session and set up your first camera as needed.
- In settings, go to Advanced Settings and turn “Multi Cameras” to ON
- As soon as you do that, you’ll have the ability to assign another camera to your session: You’ll see a thumbnail of your selected camera’s feed beneath the main session window and a camera icon beside it.
- Click the camera icon and select the camera you’d like to use. If you don’t see your desired camera, make sure it’s connected properly, then click “Refresh cameras” in the top-right corner of the Settings area.
- Make sure your selected camera is pointed at the board you’d like to share. Now, identify the board manually or using the automatic board finder. These settings will be assigned to this specific camera.
- If you’d like to add a third camera/board, simply repeat the last two steps.
Once all of that is done, just stand in front of each board and use it as needed. ShareTheBoard will switch cameras based on your location. Your viewers will always see the correct camera and your session’s Board Memory will always capture the correct board’s content.
