In Poland, we experienced a rather chilly spring, but summer arrived with a heatwave. Whatever the weather outside, the atmosphere within our team has remained warm and productive – and the results are reflected in the latest improvements to our application.

What’s new:

  • NEW FEATURE: ‘Search’ functionality within Board Memory!

Search is now available across Board Memory records. The search covers titles, briefs, tags, text analysis results, audio transcriptions, presenter notes, text annotations, and sticky notes.
After entering at least three characters, matching results are displayed automatically.

  • NEW FEATURE: Board Memory management!

Checkboxes are displayed next to the star icon. After selecting one or more records, the Delete and Combine options become available.

‘Combine’ option creates a new Board Memory from multiple selected records. The order in which records are selected determines the order of frames in the new Board Memory. Analysis results, audio transcriptions, and keyframe bookmarks are not transferred. Presenter notes from both the title slide and individual frames are preserved. During the merge process, auto-analysis generates a new title, brief, tags, and keyframe transcriptions.

Board Memory records cannot be deleted or combined while auto-analysis is still in progress. The original recordings remain unchanged.

  • NEW FEATURE (on demand): audio transcription!

This feature is available upon request. Microphone permission is required. In the session settings panel, there is a dropdown list of available microphones. Audio is recorded during the session and used to generate frame-by-frame transcriptions in Board Memory. Each audio segment can be played back using the selected voice.

  • NEW FEATURE: sticky note size options!

Sticky note annotations now support two display sizes: a small icon or a large one (with a text preview). The size can also be changed later while editing the sticky note.

Note:
On small screens (such as mobile devices), sticky notes are always displayed as small icons.

  • Extended statistics in the Organization tab in the Admin account for the last two months:

*Sessions – completed sessions,
*Active users – number of presenters and attendees within the selected time period,
*Board Memory – Board Memory views by presenters and attendees.

Filtering by user ID is available and affects all three charts.

  • New ‘Refresh’ option for the Remote Control tab, which reactivates Content Camera if it becomes inactive for any reason.
  • The light theme is now the default. Language and theme switcher icons are available in both the logged-in and logged-out observer views, as well as for the host in Zoom App.
  • Improved the logic for starting scheduled Remote Control sessions. If the computer is powered on or the user logs into Content Camera after the scheduled start time, the session will still start. The Remote Session Issue email is now sent only after the scheduled session duration has elapsed if the session never starts.
  • The auto-analysis results are displayed in the correct language (priority order: user language, then organization language, and if neither is set, English is used by default).

Bug fixes:

  • The preview of collected frames (during a session) now displays correctly when switching cameras in multicameras mode.
  • The eraser tool is now available in Zoom App.
  • If one co-host marks a BM as a favorite, another co-host cannot unmark it.

More exciting features are coming next month. Stay tuned and… Happy whiteboarding!
